Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Supervisor, Forming 1st Shift to lead shop floor activities within the Durex Industries operations. This role acts as a key operational liaison, driving production flow, inventory accuracy, material movement, and process adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating component movement, attending meetings, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and supporting MES/SFM transactions, barcode systems, and daily production reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in a discrete environment.
• Strong data analysis and process discipline.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of production components across the shop floor and provide status updates to production teams.
• Attend department meetings, manage action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Shipping & Receiving and other departments as needed.
• Support Operations Supervisors and Team Leads in prioritizing and reconciling component quantities and assemblies.
• Manage Shipping and Receiving activities and operate barcode/labeling equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors to expedite assemblies through manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Serve as the Shop Floor Business Process Owner for barcode and labeling systems and provide technical support.
• Ensure material movement and transaction accuracy in MES/SFM and other systems.
• Maintain MO documentation and physical inventory accuracy; manage MRBs and CARs.
• Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory; generate daily work progress reports.
