Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in distribution center or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate Raymond powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to deliver classroom instruction, hands-on training, and evaluations.
• Experience training and evaluating operators on assigned equipment.
• Ability to read and explain operating manuals and safety procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for group and individual feedback.
• Ability to recognize performance patterns and develop improvement actions.
• Ability to coach employees with consistent qualification standards.
• Strong organization, scheduling, documentation, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and LMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction, equipment demonstrations, supervised practice, and practical evaluations.
• Train employees in safe PIT operation including reach trucks, order pickers, counterbalanced forklifts, and pallet trucks.
• Develop training plans for new hires, transfers, and additional equipment.
• Provide timely feedback, set expectations, and create follow-up checkpoints.
• Coach and reinforce safe work practices; escalate concerns when needed.
• Coordinate training schedules with Operations, Safety, and staffing agencies.
• Maintain training records, evaluations, and retraining requirements.
• Ensure materials align with procedures and manufacturer instructions.
