Job summary

Apex Tool Group in Apex, NC is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler to operate a forklift, move and stage product in our distribution center. The role runs Monday–Friday 3 PM to 11:30 PM, onsite, with a $1 shift premium.

Responsibilities include using RF scanner with WMS, lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math, following safety rules, and performing related duties. We offer benefits from day one, PTO, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
• Distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Basic math skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials.
• Move pallets to designated areas with forklift or pallet jack.
• Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties, as required or directed.
• All other duties as assigned.
