Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler at our Apex, NC distribution center. The role involves operating a forklift to move, load, and unload products within a warehouse environment.

The schedule is A shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with company match; health savings account; 3 weeks of PTO; and 11 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift or pallet jack operation experience preferred.
• Distribution/warehouse experience desired.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• RF scanning and basic numeric tasks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to complete transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials.
• Move pallets to designated areas using forklift or pallet jack.
• Continuously lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
