Job summary

Grahamjobs is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) in the Winston-Salem/Kernersville area. The role involves moving, tracking, and delivering materials to production while keeping accurate inventory records and supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, ensuring correct part numbers, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Prior forklift and warehouse experience are required or preferred, with safety standards a must.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
• Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
• Ability to follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures.
• Willingness to train on additional warehouse machinery, including turrets.
• Strong time management, communication, and basic hand tool skills; familiarity with the metric system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
• Collects and delivers material to production in accordance with production schedule.
• Ensure quantity and part numbers align with pick lists.
• Maintain in-process inventory counts to ensure continuous accuracy.
• Deliver production materials where needed with accuracy and speed.
• Document materials, record units delivered and location of units.
• Partner with production for seamless processes.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
