Job summary

Apex Tool Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift at our Apex, NC distribution center. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM, onsite with duties including labeling, packing, loading/unloading, and organizing products efficiently.

We offer excellent benefits starting Day 1 (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, HSA), 3 weeks paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and a $1.00 per hour premium pay for the 2nd shift to reward your evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and make labels and boxes based on zone and priority
• Determine and build packaging based on product size
• Use equipment to determine location of box contents
• Verify product number to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) label
• Use basic mathematics to determine the appropriate number of picks
• Order additional product from other locations when stock is low
• Move boxes to additional zones when complete
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds of product as needed
• Follow safety regulations
• Loading products into a container, arranging them into secured pallets or organizing them in a secure way.
• Unloading products from containers and arranging them into secured pallets.
