Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Hart, Michigan is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator/Processing Line. The role starts at 3:30pm, Monday–Friday, in the Processing department, full-time. Pay is shown for two operator levels: Forklift Operator 2 at $21.83/hour and Forklift Operator 1 at $23.28/hour.

We are looking for a hands-on, safety-minded teammate to support production and inventory accuracy. This position involves moving totes and pallets, weighing products, recording weights on tickets, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of forklift experience preferred (Food Processing a plus).
• Basic math and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan and attach proper tote tickets to help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Move totes / pallets throughout the plant.
• Weigh product and record weight on tickets.
• Ability to move, stack, and unstack pallets or totes of product in rows, and up to 5 high.
• Ensure pallets are stacked and wrapped correctly.
• Remove pallets of completed product to appropriate area for storage.
• Unloads and fills out required paperwork on all incoming materials, ingredients, and supplies.
• Relieve other department drivers for breaks.
• Operate forklift safely at all times, maintain forklift as required, and complete daily forklift checklist.
• Change propane as needed.
