Job summary
Lineage Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Hart, MI. The role runs 5:30pm to 2am, with overtime as needed during busy periods, and may include weekends.
Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, and duties include operating electric-powered forklifts, loading/unloading pallets, and complying with safety standards. You will record item data using RF systems, perform daily equipment checks, and coordinate with drivers to ensure safe, efficient material handling in cold or dry
Qualifications
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to understand instructions in English.
- Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with RF scanning is a plus.
- Must operate forklift safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Position forks, lifting platform, or other equipment under/around pallets and loads.
- Transport and unload pallets to designated areas.
- Record weight, counts, and item condition via RF system.
- Complete daily forklift maintenance/checks.
- Lead safety inspections for truck chalking and glad-hand process.
- Coordinate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety.
- Monitor battery charge and charging station and maintain equipment.
