Job summary

Louisa Food Products, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Material Handler for our warehouse. The role involves forklift operation, materials handling, and supporting production in a cold storage environment.

The shift runs 3:00pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday, with starting pay $22.00 per hour and potential to rise to $23.50 per hour in one year, plus semi-annual bonuses. Benefits include 401(k) with 6% match, paid holidays, health insurance with HSA, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• One year of stand-up forklift experience.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Lifting up to 80 lbs. and post-employment test required.
• Must be punctual and attend consistently.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storage, handling, and shipping a variety of products and ingredients.
• Supply Production Department with required materials/ingredients.
• Maintain neat/clean storage areas where assigned.
• Job location may shift across dry goods, cooler, and freezer storage; be prepared for all areas.
• Accurate paperwork and English communication are essential.
• Some overtime may be required on short notice.
• Strong teamwork and communication to support operations.
