Job summary

Louisa Food Products, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator to work in our warehouse from 6:30am to 3:30pm. The role involves forklift operation, material handling, and packaging support in a fast-paced cold storage environment.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with potential to move to $22.50 per hour in 1 year, plus semi-annual bonuses. Benefits include a 401(k) with 6% match and profit sharing, paid holidays and vacation, health insurance with employer HSA, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• One year of stand-up forklift experience.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Post-employment physical functional test will be required.
• Excellent punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storage, handling, and shipping a variety of products and ingredients.
• Supply Production Department with required materials/ingredients.
• Maintain neat/clean storage areas in assigned zones.
• Job may shift between dry goods, cooler, and freezer storage.
• Complete paperwork accurately and in English; teamwork emphasized.
• Overtime may be required on short notice.
