Job summary

Louisa Food Products, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in the St. Louis area. The role runs 6:30am to 3:30pm and involves receiving, storage, handling and shipping of ingredients in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with potential to move to $22.50 per hour in 1 year, plus semi-annual bonuses. Benefits include 401(k) with match, paid holidays, health insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• One year of stand-up forklift experience.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Lifting up to 80 lbs. maximum; post-employment physical test.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storage, handling, and shipping a variety of products and ingredients.
• Supply Production Department with required materials/ingredients.
• Maintain neat/clean storage areas; work may shift between dry goods, cooler and freezer storage.
• Complete paperwork accurately and communicate in English.
• Overtime may be required on short notice; emphasize teamwork.
