Challenge Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift forklift operator at our Northlake, TX plant. The role ensures on-time, accurate material handling and inventory accuracy while safely operating a forklift and supporting plant flow.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving pallets, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and ability to read and follow instructions. Shift is 4:00 PM–2:30 AM, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Participate in needs analysis and training programs.
• Assist in independent audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Move levers and operate pedals to drive forklift and maneuver lifting devices.
• Position forks and lifting equipment under loads and transport them to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials; weigh and record weights.
• Load/unload materials from pallets; recharge batteries or replace gas tanks.
