Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing materials to support production, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include following work orders, maintaining material flow, and assisting machine operators while ensuring a clean, organized work environment. Forklift operations are a key requirement for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
• Industrial Hi-Lo (forklift) operation experience strongly required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and move materials, products, or containers according to instructions.
• Maintain continuous flow of materials to and from machines.
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment; assemble stackers and containment equipment for finished products.
• Operate an industrial Hi-Lo forklift to load trucks and transport materials.
