Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a 2nd Shift Forklift Driver to move material between inventory and production, and ensure accurate records. You will participate in pre-shift checks and support production with timely material flow.

Responsibilities include stacking, wrapping, labeling, and maintaining a clean yard, while following company safety rules and forklift policies. Prior forklift experience is preferred; must be 18+ and able to pass licensing.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math and inventory knowledge preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to complete forklift licensing.

Responsibilities

• Moves material between inventory and production stations.
• Bands, wraps, packs, and labels finished goods.
• Transfers finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assists production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Maintains inventory yard organized and clean.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment checklist.
• Follows forklift rules and company safety policies.
• Participates in safety and CI programs.
