Pay: $18.60/hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 4:30pm-1:00am)

Position Overview:

A Cold Storage Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, rotating, and managing inventory in cold storage environments. This includes operating forklifts, power pallet jacks, and scan gun systems to ensure proper storage, organization, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
2. Work effectively in cold environments.
3. Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
4. Store goods in temperature-controlled areas, ensuring proper organization and temperature monitoring.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts (1+ year).
• Experience in cold storage warehouse environments (1+ year).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and scan gun systems.
• Ability to read labels and understand internal communication.
• Able to work full days in cold temperatures.
• Physical fitness, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Training and Certification:

• Guided Training (up to 40 hours)
• Forklift Operation and Certification
• Battery and Propane Safety Training
• Other required safety and process trainings
