Job summary

Greif is hiring for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in Iowa. Under close supervision, you will perform routine logistics tasks including moving and storing materials, receiving goods, and packing items for shipment using forklifts and conveyors.

The role runs 2:50 pm–11:00 pm with primary responsibilities such as loading/unloading shipments, preparing orders, labeling, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Prior experience is not required, and growth opportunities are available.

• Provides quality service by following organization standards.

Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Under close supervision, performs routine logistics operations activities, including: moving and storing materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors); receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record; gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method; and/or recording received and shipped items.

2nd Shift

2:50 pm to 11:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between19.10 to19.10. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
