Job summary

Greif is seeking a Dock Lead for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) in Naperville, IL. The role supports Logistics Planning & Optimization, Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations, and Transportation & Fleet Operations with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, loading/unloading, order prep, labeling, and quality checks. Typically 2–4 years of related experience required; strong teamwork and communication skills a must.

• Promote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products.
• Provide quality service by following organization standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Under limited supervision, performs operational support activities within Logistics Planning & Optimization, Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations, and/or Transportation & Fleet Operations.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $22.40 - $38.17annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between32.47 to32.47. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
