Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a 2nd shift forklift operator responsible for pulling/picking and loading outbound shipments and unloading inbound deliveries to the facility.

You will operate a propane sit-down forklift, sort shipments, load/unload materials, move items to pallets, inspect equipment, verify counts, and follow shipping work orders. Strong safety, communication, and math skills are required. HS diploma and forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).

Responsibilities

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise for orders.
• Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
• Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect the forklift to determine repairs and ensure safety.
• Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
• Material handling of all products; follow shipping work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
