Job summary

Carlisle is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions. Forklift Operators support shipping with move & receiving of materials, including warehouse organization and finished goods inspection, loading/unloading customer trucks. Standard 40 hours/week, occasional overtime, no travel.

Pre-shift inspections, data recording, safe operation of propane sit-down forklifts, quality checks, and teamwork with production and shipping are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a propane sit-down forklift or similar equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication, organization and time management.
• Proficiency with basic math and calculator use.
• Willingness to learn and operate new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Move raw materials and finished goods on the production floor.
• Inspect materials for quality defects and segregate defective items.
• Assist with housekeeping and process improvements with teams.
• Move product and materials to designated locations and support shgroup.
