Job summary

DHL in Carlisle, PA is hiring for a 2nd shiftForklift Operator position. You will load and unload shipments, move stock within a fast-paced warehouse, and operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts.

Qualified candidates have a forklift certificate, at least 6 months of warehouse experience, and a HS diploma or equivalent. On-site orientation/training is provided in Mechanicsburg, PA with standard safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience required
• Forklift operator certificate within first 30 days of employment
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock and stage products using forklifts or other equipment (80% of shift)
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact counts/types
• Maintain inventory records for accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy and report variances
• Change batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources
• Keep equipment and area neat and orderly
• Assist in physical inventories
• Complete daily equipment inspections
