Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Ecosource located in Green Bay, WI seeks motivated individuals for the Forklift and Equipment Operator-2nd Shift (2pm–10pm). You will support our recycling operations at the Paper Recycling facility and handle load/unload, material identification, and safe equipment operation.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with a $1.50 per hour second-shift premium. Previous forklift experience and basic computer skills are a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is valued for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Complete inhouse training & assessment for lift truck/loader as well as paper grading.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; ability to speak, read and write.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks, small front loaders, and various recycling equipment.
• Load and unload bales, pallets, gaylord boxes, rolls, etc. from semi-trailers.
• Identifying and documenting incoming materials.
• Support multiple recycling functions throughout the facility.
• Adhere to strict safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety PPE.
• Perform tasks such as walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 35lbs. occasionally in a dusty warm/cold environment.
• Assist in the upkeep of work area and equipment.
