Job summary

Qualifications

• Frequently communicate and converse in English preferred.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and chemicals preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.
• Able to work night shift; overtime and weekends as needed.
• Learn and understand the three main areas of contamination.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and processing facilities to eliminate pathogens and contaminants.
• Disassemble, clean, disinfect, and reassemble machinery and conveyors.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to protocols.
• Maintain floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA regulations and pest-control measures.
