Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Smyrna, GA seeks a dedicated Sanitation Worker to uphold food safety and sanitation across a fast-paced plant. You will perform the eight steps of sanitation, follow SQF/HACCP/GMP standards, and work with multiple teams to ensure a clean, safe production area.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including overtime. Shift: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; Wage: $16–$18/hr. Dessert Holdings is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality.
• Must have a minimal ability to read and write in English.
• Follow GMP and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with sanitation and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn to clean and sanitize production equipment and environment.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
