Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Sanitor for the 2nd shift in Conyers, GA. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing equipment and production areas, ensuring FDA/regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Experience with CIP systems and the ability to follow SSOPs and safety procedures are essential. Key duties include equipment disassembly for COP as needed, maintaining sanitation logs, and reporting issues to ensure food safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years sanitation experience in food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with CIP systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, sanitation practices.
• Able to read and follow SOPs/SSOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation per SSOPs and SOPs.
• Operate and monitor CIP systems, ensuring correct parameters.
• Safely mix and apply chemicals following SDS and guidelines.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for COP where required.
• Keep sanitation logs and verification documentation.
• Identify and report sanitation deficiencies and risks.
