Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a QA Lab Technician (2nd Shift) in Seattle, WA to join its client’s Quality Assurance team. You will perform tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting.

The role requires a college diploma or equivalent experience, familiarity with lab equipment, SAP, and MS Office, and a strong focus on GMP and food safety.

Qualifications

• College diploma or 4 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing.
• Microbiology background preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow laboratory protocols.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work 2nd shift, overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality tests and inspections on materials and products for safety and quality.
• Conduct line audits, case checks, and finished product testing; report results timely.
• Support troubleshooting and coach team members on quality protocols.
• Maintain documentation and file management for quality activities.
• Lead plant inspections (GMP, pre-op, safety checks) and assist allergen testing and vendor issues.
