Job summary

Ornua Co-operative Limited in Wisconsin seeks a Production Supervisor to manage daily staffing of production and packaging rooms, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently to produce high-quality dairy products.

Reporting to the Plant Manager at the Whitehall East Facility, you will translate weekly schedules to the floor, supervise labeling and quantity control, and ensure training, safety, and compliance across HACCP, FDA, USDA, and audits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supervisory Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience supervising a production workforce in food manufacturing.
• Proven leadership to direct teams and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Create daily staffing plan for production and packaging areas.
• Translate the weekly production schedule to floor operations.
• Ensure finished products are properly labeled and produced in correct quantities.
• Ensure raw materials are available and staged for production.
• Translate HACCP and food safety procedures into floor practice and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with WDATCP, FDA and USDA, as well as audits.
• Assist in safety and risk management activities and daily pre-op checks.
• Address equipment and people issues on the floor and document breakdowns.
• Guide breaks and shifts; prepare for sanitation procedures.
• Generate production area documentation and support training.
