Job summary

TH Foods is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Loves Park, IL. The role involves setting up, operating and tending to machines that mix, cook, season, convey and wrap product while ensuring adherence to batch sheets and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily schedules, verifying materials, performing setup/shutdowns, and maintaining quality inspections. The position requires physical activity and weekend work as production needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Priormanufacturing experience setting up and adjusting production processing or packaging machinery is preferred.
• Ability to read, verify and confirm all batch sheets, orders and instructions in a timely manner.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Performs quality inspections and checks to meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily schedule with supervisors/leads.
• Obtains batch sheets and process sheets from Supervisor.
• Verifies materials match batch sheet.
• Inspects equipment for cleanliness, allergen issues and foreign objects.
• Completes machinery setup/shutdown per batch sheet.
• Mixes/cooks batches or wraps product to specifications.
• Monitors equipment to stay within process parameters.
• Performs daily housekeeping and safety checks.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment.
