Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for the Elk Grove, CA facility on the 2nd shift (3:30pm-11:30pm).

The role focuses on operating mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, and maintaining production flow according to GMP and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring quality checks, adhering to SOPs, maintaining sanitation, recording production data, and collaborating with supervisors and QC staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment) per specifications.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure proper functioning and production flow.
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished products following SOPs and GMPs.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the production area and equipment.
• Record production data in the reporting system and assist with inventory tasks.
