Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Mixer (Flour) to prepare batches per recipes and production schedules at our Elk Grove, CA facility. You will verify ingredients, monitor dough consistency, and coordinate with machine operators to ensure quality and on-time production.

Maintain accurate records in the ERP/TGI systems and adhere to safety and SQF standards. The role requires 1-2 years in food manufacturing settings, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/ GED a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOP’s, recipes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mixes meet quality and production schedule; follow recipes and prepare batches as per guidelines.
• Comply with SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA and company safety policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions and participate in preventive maintenance to meet production needs.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP/TGI systems for mixing, temperatures, and batches.
• Coordinate with the machine operator to verify dough consistency and changeovers.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas and adhere to waste standards.
• Verify ingredient quantities and FIFO usage; monitor temperatures and dough texture.
• Communicate effectively with the machine operator and department supervisor.
