Job summary

SQM is seeking a dependable 2nd shift Production Line Worker to support the processing and packaging of meat products in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment. You will perform hands-on production tasks, follow food safety requirements, and help the team meet daily quality and production goals.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Training will be provided; no secondary education is required, and the position may involve overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• No secondary education required; training provided.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must lift 30–40 pounds regularly.
• Willing to work in refrigerated conditions and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and move products on the production line.
• Mark bins and pallets with identifying codes.
• Operate or assist with equipment setup and shutdown.
• Inspect products for quality and report issues.
• Maintain production records as instructed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and report hazards.
• Assist other departments to support production.
