Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is seeking a Processing Team Member in the United States. You will perform tasks from receiving and grinding to linking, cooking, and labeling to ensure quality and USDA compliance.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in a cold environment. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing or food processing; familiarity with inventory systems (Vista Trac) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow batch recipes and SOPs.
• Strong focus on food safety and quality control.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational checks and inspect equipment.
• Receive, weigh, grind, mix, and portion ingredients to batch specs.
• Set up, operate, and adjust processing equipment as required.
• Stuff meat into casings and ensure correct casing cuts.
• Hang and inspect products on the line for QC and labeling accuracy.
• Sanitize work areas and adhere to GMPs, USDA/ FDA regs.
• Stock inventory and follow FIFO with accurate documentation.
• Report safety or equipment issues to supervisor immediately.
