Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory background in sanitary, climate-controlled, or highly regulated plant settings (food processing, beverage, consumer goods).
• Proven leadership capability to direct, motivate, and hold a diverse production workforce accountable to productivity and safety metrics.
• Comfortable navigating union environments and resolving floor issues with professional diplomacy.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook) or ERP/MES production tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive floor operations: direct shift leadership, mentor and motivate a high-performing crew, manage daily schedules, optimize labor allocation.
• Maximize line throughput: manage material flow and resources to minimize downtime and hit shift output targets.
• Champion food safety standards: enforce FDA, SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.
• Lead continuous improvement: run Lean/5S projects to improve procedures, reduce waste, improve OEE.
• Manage shift handoffs: ensure smooth cross-shift communication and structured handoffs.
• Maintain plant safety: uphold zero-incident culture, conduct risk assessments, manage logs via ERP systems.
