Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator III for the 2nd shift at the Carthage, MO plant. You will set up, operate, and monitor high-speed PT machines, feed and shovel dough, and ensure products meet quality specs while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, conducting process checks, and assisting with training backups. Must hold forklift/palletjack certification and be comfortable working in cold production environments with

Qualifications

Prefer High School Diploma/GED.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work rapidly and with a high degree of accuracy.
Math skills.
Reliable.
Self-driven.
Minimal supervision.
Forklift/Palletjack Certification.

Responsibilities

Sets up, operates and tends the PT machines.
Inspect equipment in use through troubleshooting and fix issues to prevent breakdowns.
Feed dough into the PT machine.
Shovel filling into the PT machines.
Monitor the PT process and perform quality checks to spec.
Run product to specifications and manage overlaps as needed.
Assist with training backup personnel.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety rules.
Operate forklift/palletjack to move raw materials.
Report quality or machinery problems to leads or maintenance.
