Job summary

Golden State Foods in Opelika, AL is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This full-time role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient operation on the production lines.

You will monitor equipment, assist with setup and changeovers, perform housekeeping, and help maintain product quality while following all food safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to operate and understand general production machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance.
• Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health and safety standards, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.
• Must be able to pass training/certifications as required for qualification.
• Responsible for checking the proper calibration of equipment assigned.
• Must be able to maintain housekeeping standard requirements in all assigned areas.
• Must be able to understand operator functions in assigned operator roles such as Assembly/Disassembly, Scale Room Operator, and/or Block Person.
• Must be able to properly perform rework tasks.
• Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
• Compliance with all other duties assigned.
