Job summary

LiDestri Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator - B Cook for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) in Fairport, NY. The role involves operating and setting up machinery, troubleshooting, and maintaining quality and sanitation standards in a high-paced production environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and prior machine operation experience. PPE, basic math, and basic computer skills are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience is preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform simple math.
• Experience using various hand tools and basic equipment.
• Forklift experience and lock out/tag out certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery with set-up, operation, changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery and perform SOPs.
• Cross-train on equipment as directed by manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials to work orders.
• Adhere to safety rules and ensure good attendance.
• Report food safety and quality issues promptly.
