LiDestri Foods, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator for the 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) in Fairport, NY. The role focuses on safe, efficient machine operation, quality maintenance and adherence to sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, changeovers, troubleshooting, GMP compliance, and basic testing of products. Strong attention to safety and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE (cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, protective shoes).
• Ability to use basic computer and math functions and reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including setup, operation, changeovers and troubleshooting to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery and the work area.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in the area.
• Cross training or training on equipment as defined by manager.
• Manage and issue raw materials into work orders.
• Work in a safe manner following company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good attendance per company policy.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
