LiDestri Foods is seeking a Machine Operator II for the 12 hr night shift (6pm-6:30am) in Rochester, NY. You will safely operate and set up multiple production machines, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot to ensure product quality while following sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires experience with 3+ machines or 3–5 years in manufacturing, ability to wear PPE, basic math and computer skills, and forklift experience where applicable.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient in operating three (3) or more production machines or 3-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (including operation, set-ups, change overs and troubleshooting of multiple machines).
• Ability to wear PPE (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net if applicable, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather, skid resistant boots).
• Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning.
• Ability to use various hand tools (knife, water hose, band cutters, can opener, scales, Telnet scanners, various hand tools).
• Previous experience operating a forklift (for applicable areas).
• Lock out/tag out certified; possess a continuous improvement and team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Operate machinery, including set-up, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect defects or malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Cross-train or train on equipment as defined by the manager.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in the assigned area.
• Work safely according to company rules and regulations.
• Maintain good attendance per policy.
• Maintain and record accurate documentation.
• Handle raw materials and issue to work orders.
• Report food safety and quality issues to the responsible personnel.
