Job summary

Shank’s Extracts, LLC d/b/a Universal Ingredients – Shank’s is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Mechanic in Lancaster, PA. The role covers set up, repairs, and preventive maintenance for the production line to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities include line changeovers, equipment inspections, and collaboration with the Production Team Lead to meet safety and quality standards in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Knowledge and familiarity with GMPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Upshift maintenance on production line equipment, including setup and preventive maintenance.
• Perform changeovers and setups on packaging lines with varying levels of technician support.
• Adjust line settings to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with GMPs.
• Inspect equipment for quality and adherence to procedures.
