Job summary

Ventura Foods in Ontario, CA is seeking a 2nd shift Blender to efficiently mix finished products while upholding food safety standards. You will operate and maintain batch equipment, sanitize between runs, and ensure product quality and adherence to GMPs and SQF guidelines.

Candidates typically have a High School diploma and 1–3 years of experience handling chemicals. Excellent communication and meticulous record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of blender/processing experience.
• Experience handling chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch sheet without deviation while mixing product and document deviations.
• Record data on mixer SIS form and communicate discrepancies.
• Monitor gauges, equipment and temperatures; keep batch records.
• Read daily production schedule and process orders; notify supervisor of issues.
• Complete sanitation and housekeeping between runs; ensure proper rework instructions.
• Operate RF smart and JDE; train others on activities; ensure proper handoff to next shift.
