Newly Weds Foods in Illinois seeks a blending operator to support production goals for customer orders. You will verify ingredients, load blending equipment, mix batches to spec, and collect quality samples.

Responsibilities include maintaining material integrity, assisting in inventory, cleaning and following LOTO procedures. 2nd shift is 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. High school diploma required and 1 year in food manufacturing.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate blending equipment and scales.

• Unloads ingredients into blending equipment and mixes batch according to specification.
• Maintains standards for blending.
• Collects product samples for quality checks as required.
• Occasionally bags product under blender.

• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Verifies ingredients/ weights against batch tickets before blending
• Unloads ingredients into blending equipment and mixes batch according to specification.
• Maintains standards for blending.
• Collects product samples for quality checks as required.
• Will occasionally be bagging product under blender
• Must maintain integrity of raw materials
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Keeps area and equipment cleans; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to comfortably operate blending equipment and scales.

2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) Monday thru Saturday
