Job summary

Newly Weds Foods- Corporate in Illinois is seeking a Blending Operator to support production goals by accurately blending ingredients, loading and weighing batch tickets, and monitoring equipment.

You will collect samples for quality checks, assist with inventory and cycle counts, keep the work area clean, and follow safety rules such as LOTO during cleaning. This role is on the 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate blending equipment and scales

Responsibilities

• Verifies ingredients/weights against batch tickets before blending.
• Unloads ingredients into blending equipment and mixes batch according to specification.
• Maintains standards for blending.
• Collects product samples for quality checks as required.
• Occasionally bags product under blender.
• Maintains integrity of raw materials.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Verifies ingredients/ weights against batch tickets before blending
• Unloads ingredients into blending equipment and mixes batch according to specification.
• Maintains standards for blending.
• Collects product samples for quality checks as required.
• Will occasionally be bagging product under blender
• Must maintain integrity of raw materials
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Keeps area and equipment cleans; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to comfortably operate blending equipment and scales.

2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) Monday thru Saturday
