Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is looking for a Dishwasher to join the team. This hourly role pays $16.50 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials when applicable. Location is the Resort, and the position reports to the Sous Chef.

You must be able to work closing shifts and comply with all casino policies, including drug and alcohol-free workplace requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, sanitized dish area, washing and unloading dishware efficiently, and assisting

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of customer service per North Star Mohican Casino Resort policies.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and punctual reporting to work.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
• Adhere to the department's uniform and grooming standards.
• Assist with keeping dishwashing area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Handle and clean dishware efficiently and safely.
• Report guest concerns to the immediate supervisor for resolution.

Responsibilities :

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
• Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.

• Empty garbage cans as needed and transported todesignatedareas.
• Scrape, rack, wash, and unload dishware from dishwasher in an efficientmanner.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, sanitized, and stockedwithneeded equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Report any guest complaints or concerns tothe immediatesupervisor for resolution.
• Understand the goals and vision of the organization anddemonstratecommitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.
• Perform as a team member andassistfellow associates to ensuresmoothoperation.
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and the Food and Beverage Department.

Qualifications & Education :

Work Conditions :

• Mustpossessthe ability to be mobile 100% of the shift, which includes prolonged periods of being on your feet.
• Requiredtofrequentlystand, walk, talk, and hear. Also required to use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms; along with the ability to lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds on a frequent basis; with help/assistance.
• Must be able to work in an area that is both unusually hot and cold, with a moderate to higher-than-normal noise level.
• Required vision abilities to perform this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception along with the ability to read tickets and adjust focus.
