Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is seeking a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage team. This hourly position offers $16.50 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials where applicable, and reports to the Sous Chef.

Must be able to work closing shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, sanitized dish area, scraping, washing, stacking, and unloading dishware, and supporting teammates to keep the operation running smoothly.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred; required for applicants 19 or younger.
• Position is flex for minors aged 16–17 with diploma or current high school enrollment.
• Courteous, friendly individual with effective communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests.
• Scrape, rack, wash, and unload dishware efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and stock supplies.
• Report guest concerns to the immediate supervisor.
• Adhere to all policies of the casino and Food & Beverage dept.
• Support team to ensure smooth operation and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities :

• Ensures that the highest standards of customer service aremaintainedin accordance withpolicies and procedures set forth by North Star Mohican Casino Resort.
• Mustmaintainan acceptable departmental attendance record.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
• Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.
• Mustwear the approved, departmental uniform.

• Empty garbage cans as needed and transported todesignatedareas.
• Scrape, rack, wash, and unload dishware from dishwasher in an efficientmanner.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, sanitized, and stockedwithneeded equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Report any guest complaints or concerns tothe immediatesupervisor for resolution.
• Understand the goals and vision of the organization anddemonstratecommitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.

Work Conditions :

• Mustpossessthe ability to be mobile 100% of the shift, which includes prolonged periods of being on your feet.
• Requiredtofrequentlystand, walk, talk, and hear. Also required to use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms; along with the ability to lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds on a frequent basis; with help/assistance.
• Must be able to work in an area that is both unusually hot and cold, with a moderate to higher-than-normal noise level.
• Required vision abilities to perform this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception along with the ability to read tickets and adjust focus.
