Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in Cincinnati is seeking a mechanically inclined Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will use Penske's tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

You'll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, receive industry-certified training, and grow your career in a supportive, well-equipped shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety policies.
• DOT/OSHA compliance and drug screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and perform repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication/ replacements.
• Learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
