Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician at 2120 Dana Ave, Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, minor repairs and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers. You will use Penske tools and diagnostics, learn new skills through hands-on coaching, and grow with a strong training program.

First shift is Monday–Friday (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) with a starting pay around $25.73 per hour plus shift premiums, and union benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use tools safely.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and in varying environments, with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching with a manager.
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor.
