Job summary

Crystal Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Final Assembly Technician. This entry-level role involves assembling and inspecting rugged computer systems under direct supervision, following work instructions, reading drawings, and ensuring quality and delivery standards.

You will maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workspace, record time and materials in Epicor and VKS, and collaborate with leads and supervisors.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• US Person per employment policy.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly processes.
• Familiarity with IPC-610/620 standards (certification preferred).
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Proficiency with Epicor time-tracking and VKS.
• Basic computer navigation and use of manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using standard work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards or near misses.
• Record time, material usage, and issues in Epicor and VKS.
• Perform basic troubleshooting with limited assistance.
• Support team-based builds or small projects.
