Job summary

dfa is seeking a dedicated Filler Operator for the second shift in Portland, ME. This full-time role involves operating and monitoring a filler line, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work on a fast-paced production floor, collaborating with teammates to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with GMP and food safety standards. Training provided; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing/production experience.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment of the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
• Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Collect required samples needed for quality assurance testing.
• Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
• Follow all DFA/Oakhurst Dairy GMP requirements and documentation procedures.
