Job summary

Purity Dairies in Nashville, TN is seeking a Filler Operator for our facility. The role involves operating filling machines, adjusting them for safe, efficient, and high-quality production, and monitoring for defective bottles.

The position requires up to 50 lb lifting, standing most of the day, and a willingness to work 2nd shift 2:00 PM–10:30 PM plus Saturdays as needed. DFA is an equal opportunity employer and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months related experience required.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull most of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in a wet environment with possible dust, gas or fumes.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling machines and make adjustments to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production.
• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles and troubleshoot filler equipment.
• Maintain clear, accurate paperwork and document per SOPs.
• Follow GMPs and communicate with other departments.
