Job summary

Oakhurst Dairy in Portland, ME is seeking a full-time filler operator to operate and monitor production line equipment on the 2nd shift (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 12:30 PM–11:00 PM). Responsibilities include cleaning, setting up, operating, and documenting quality checks while ensuring GMP compliance.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with teams, record data, and perform line changeovers safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years minimum of manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler equipment and monitor the production line.
• Complete required documentation and quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging quality.
• Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate operating issues and resolve them.
• Collect samples for quality assurance testing.
• Follow GMP and safety regulations in all activities.
