Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Experience in fiber optic or wire/cable assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiber optic cable assemblies, patch cords, harnesses, and connectorized products per work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Prepare, strip, terminate, polish, and inspect fiber optic cables and connectors.
• Operate polishing equipment and other assembly tools used in fiber optic manufacturing.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report problems to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and production goals.
